What does God want?

Does he want our "obedience" or our "ability"?

What are your thoughts? Think about this and Moses!

He wants it all, so I don't think it's an either/or.

However, our abilities come from Him in the first place, and we know He works through people without much ability (for example, Moses' poor speaking voice) to do great things because of their obedience.

And, He did once say that to obey is better than to sacrifice.

So, I think it starts with obedience. But it doesn't end there.

I agree with Shane... with an emphasis on obedience. He can do much with that... even if we "think" as Moses did that we have no ability. I think that's why He lets us know His strength is present even in our weakness.
But as we grow in faithfulness and obedience, we ourselves begin to realize the need to offer everything He's given us... whether we value it as ability or not. Moses didnt think he was a speaker... but as you find him responding in faitfhulness, he speaks, more and more.
If I've got it.. I respond if He calls me to use it. If I don't have it... I still respond if He calls me to use it. :-)
