It's about time someone revealed how that "perfect" look is achieved! I worry about the young girls in our world today that aren't being filled from within and are putting all their energy into outward beauty. It's hard enough for those of us who know better to not compare ourselves to the images we see in the media, but for young girls it's all becoming way too much! I applaud Dove for daring to approach this subject in the media!
That is absolutely one of my most favorite verses! When my Dad was so ill and in the hospital 2 yrs. ago and then when I got so sick last year, it really became my rally verse. It might sound weird to some, but during that time I was so sick was some of the most nourishing time I have had with God in a while. I felt like I constantly exsisted in His presence. Thanks for the reminder Shane!

I can't believe sometimes what some of these girls today are wearing. I wouldn't let my daughter leave the house in some of that stuff.
I hope the Amish looks comes into style when my daughter is in Jr High & H.S.
The make-up is one thing, but that computer stretching her neck and making her eyes bigger was just freaky.
Jeanne, your comment brought to mind this verse:
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are renewed day by day. II Cor 4:16
