This weekend at the Pink Palace proved again to be a very busy one. I wasn't prepared to be so exhausted when I got home yesterday. It's funny how the adrenaline kicks in just at the right time. I use to love the sound of helicopters, but now...it means my life...and someone else's is about to get very busy! I can't believe how much you can accomplish in a short amount of time when you are pressed for time. And when a persons life is lying in your hands, time is precious.
I'm so sad about Bells Amusement Park leaving! I really hope they will eventually re-locate it but it's just sad to watch them take all the rides apart. Not all cities have an amusement park and I thought we were original.
Tomorrow is our IEP meeting and everything will start this week.
Ian will start OT on Wednesday for the sensory disorder. I pray that goes well.

I'm glad there are people like you in emergency rooms. I've been the one being wheeled in on that gurney and I would have given anything to have had someone as loving, gentle, and happy as you to receive me when I got there! Jesus looks so good on you and I know people get an extra measure of peace that they can't even explain when you are their nurse. I'll be praying for Ian and the IEP meeting and OT. He has an awesome future ahead of Him because God created him. It's just taken the rest of the world a while to catch up to realizing what he has to offer. Remember - these three remain - faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is LOVE! Love that son of yours for who he is now and who he will become. We may never understand why things have to be the way they are on this side of life, but in a little while we will see clearly. Someday we will all be free of the things that tied us down in this life, and we will all be perfect!
love ya!
