I think we have to go through trials and walk through the fire, but God never said we have to do it alone. But first our hearts have to be right with Him before we can be right with anything else in our lives. The joy of the Lord is our strength. But someone once told me....sit down and buckle up because you are in for a ride! Yes mam! They are a roller coaster and we will always have ups and downs but I know that within myself, i can choose how I will handle those feelings and whether good or bad, give all the glory to God in those moments.
We're often surrounded by people who like to say things to bring us down, but again, if we have the Joy of the Lord withing our hearts, He will keep us safe from harm. We have to trust and believe in Him enough to live that each day. We can choose to be angry or we can choose to be happy, but it's that pure joy in our hearts that come directly from God. And His face will shine through us.
I'm excited to go on a journey with you Hannah. You're an amazing lady, wise beyond your years, and I thank God for you today. You bless me more than you will ever know.
Love you my friend! Stay strong!Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17422379315257722278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14212897.post-11884853464255847022009-02-17T11:33:00.000-06:002009-02-17T11:33:00.000-06:00I don't know if you see the difference in your sel...I don't know if you see the difference in your self lately, though based on your blogs i think you do. I can tell by your words that God has made huge progress in your faith and your trust in him. The difference from what your heart used to say on here compared to the joy your heart has now is...only God. It makes me so happy and very excited. i myself am embarking on a journey very similiar to yours. I feel as though we're walking it together.
Joy is an amazing thing that God gives us. Take heed, however, not to base that joy on your feelings and emotions, because they are an endless roller coaster. So often we decide whether we're joyfull (happy really which isn't true joy)depending on how certain situations affect us. But our JOY comes from the Lord, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Love you!Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14267547198001016345noreply@blogger.com
